Teri, this is a rather dry description of the pewter plate from my photo book about family treasures. I remember Mom putting the Christmas Cards on it. I'm not sure what quality reproduction we'll get here but let's try it.

I'm a British journalist at Columbia University's journalism school, and we put out bi-weekly articles on the New York Times news wire. For next week, I'm working on a trend story about recreating old photos. I'd love to speak with her about her recreation of the photo of the tree I came across online.
